The existing school buildings have to be extended by an additional building to cover the increased demand for classrooms in junior high school. The existing buildings and the new building should form an entity. The direct urban surrounding should be examined, as well.

"The predominant feature of the concept is the subtle handling of the building volumes in the given urban situation. The placement of the buildings creates distinct open spaces, squares and zonings that interact with the existing school buildings.
... The new youth center with city library adequately complements the urban situation of the Raven Street and forms a sym-
biotic relationship with the Northern school buildings.... Overall, a design with high quality in urban planning, design and functionality, which complies very well with the given task and the local situation."
