In a prominent location on a slope, an open pavilion-like sequence of six office buildings was designed. The two southern houses have been realized, each with an asymmetrically placed atrium within the square footprint. In the resulting narrower wings, the stairs, elevators and auxiliary rooms are located. The wider wings, orien-
ted to the landscape, allow column-free office space of all types. Central zones and areas of high heat loads are mechanically ventilated with overflow into the atria. All slabs are equipped with a concrete core cooling. Louvers in the facade enable night cooling. Each office room has a window with clear glass and one equipped with heatinsulating, light-guiding glas. Surrounding concrete sills emphasize the basic design theme of hovering pavilions.
